Morning in Tonopah! Another big day!
Check out of the Silver Queen Motel and head for the hills.
First stop, the Tonopah Mining Museum Park,
before moving on to Mono Lake,
and passing through Yosemite National Park at dusk
on the way to Mariposa, California.

Our first exploration of the day,
the Tonopah Mining Museum and Park.
One of the museum’s features is a small theater
for viewing a film about Tonopah and mining.
The helpful museum host directing us to explore the wide open park.
Where to begin? We just pick a trail and start walking.
And so wandering we wound up back where we started, the museum.
Next we set off for Mariposa, California, with a stop in Mono Lake.
Now departing Tonopah.
We continue on through Mono Lake to spend the next few days
exploring Yosemite National Park and Mariposa, California.
