Last day in Mariposa, California
before driving onward to the coast,
we opt again for swimming in the wild and scenic Merced River.
Upon returning to the ranch we have our unsinkable reminder:
“Mariposa County Sheriff Advisement –
These Premises have been evacuated due to an emergency.
If you do not have legal justification for being at this residence
you can be prosecuted for a Misdemeanor under California Law sections 602.5, 602, and 409.5.
If you have any questions about this advisement please contact the Mariposa Sheriff’s Department”
The town has faith in its firefighters…
The ranchers inform us of a concert in a local park in town,
so we catch a dinner and then the show.
After the park, we went for a night walk sightseeing the shopfronts of Mariposa
before returning back to the ranch for the evening…
Back at the car and ready to ride with a kibble snack.
