Our recent Spanish language studies led us to our first overseas destination:

Spain is home to prehistoric cave drawings, ruins of Roman settlements,

evidence of Islamic rule, religious Inquisition, and a somewhat recent Civil War.

Infamous Spanish artists include the likes of

Antoni Gaudí, Pablo Picasso, El Greco,

Miguel de Cervantes, Diego Velázquez, Francisco Goya,

and Salvador Dalí.

Typical cultural stereotypes of Spain include

Flamenco dancing, bullfighting, siestas and fiestas!

But, do they have Mexican food . . . ?
